A Little Update..

Ok, so I have totally been slacking in the blogging world lately. I've had no desire to blog or take pictures. So these are the only pictures I have to document the last two months of our exciting lives. We've had lots of fun together. We've been to Delta and Logan to play. We've spent alot of time studying (Isaac way more than me). Life is good.
Last Saturday Isaac planned an all day date for the two of us. So fun. We drove through Heber and Midway. Went to Park City and ate, shopped, walked around. Went to Salt Lake and shopped some more. It was such a fun day. I have the best husband in the world and he makes me so happy. Thanks Sweets!
Isaac and me at one of the many lakes we passed on our drive. It was such a pretty day.
Halloween was fun this year. We went to Tony and Carrie's for a halloween dinner a few nights before. It was yummy! Thanks guys! Then we headed up to Logan for the weekend. We helped my dad in the yard, went to an Aggie game, carved pumpkins, handed candy out to the cute trick-or-treaters, ate good food. It was a good weekend.

We've gone up to Sundance a couple of times to hike this fall. It's so pretty.
Me and the hun on the chair lift at Sundance.
What the heck? Yes! That is a girl in the background in her freakin bikini. I made Isaac pretend he was taking a picture of me eating my sandwich cuz we had to get a picture of it. It was freezing. She was with two boys and she would lay under the waterfall and they would take her picture. Then she would change into another swimsuit and yes while she was naked the freakin boy dropped the towell and there was quite an audience there to see. It was so awkward. It was the funniest thing to watch. Well here are some things we've been up to. I will try harder to be a better blogger. Peace.

This summer was the funnest summer ever! Seriously I enjoyed it so much. I haven't really blogged anything this summer other then New Zealand and Mexico. When we got back from New Zealand we went and stayed up in Logan at my parents house for the rest of the summer. A big thanks to them for letting us stay with them! I worked for my dad and brothers and Isaac did the window washing thing again. I didn't get pictures of some things, like going to Delta for the 4th of July. We had so much fun! We went to the parade, the park, the derby, the lake. We wenting boating, it was so fun. We went to Aggie ice cream alot. Went on nice summer night walks. It was so great.
We celebrated my dad's birthday on September 21! We had a big roast dinner on Sunday at our apartment that my mom fixed. Then Monday I drove up and we celebrated with the whole fam. It was so fun. Then when we got home, his old student ward surprised him with a party. He had a great birthday!
We did alot of camping. And when we didn't go camping we were always having dutch oven dinner up the canyon or having cook outs in my parents backyard. We totally love being in the mountains, its so peaceful.

Cooking our hot dogs.
Setting up the tent.
On the 24th of July we babysat Chellese's kids while she did a triathalon. It was so fun. We went to the zoo, went to the pool, set up the tent in the backyard and slept, and had a cook out in the backyard.
Isaac, Hudson, and Holden. It was so funny, Isaac bought the little pellets to feed the ducks and gave some to Holden. Well Holden thougt they were for him and he ate them.

More Mexico!

Me with my new little monkey friend.
My cute mom and dad.
The awesome swim up bar. The people at the bar couldn't figure out what was wrong with us. We didn't want alcohol in the kids drinks or the adults. They gave us a pretty hard time. A few times they would sneak it in but were watching so they'd have to start over. it was pretty funny.
We celebrated Luke's 4th birthday!
Stocked up on Cadbury chocolate at the airport. We know we can get it in the states but it tastes better from somewhere else. This is dad, Autumn, and Aspen.

We had a blast in the waves at Tulum.
Scott and Isaac enjoying a refreshing coke and trying to beat the heat.
Trina, Aspen, Kira, Sina, Luke, and me in the pool. These kids are such great swimmers.
Dad, Jay, and Aspen at the pool.

Mom and Dad relaxin!
Autumn and Lauren enjoying all you can eat ice cream. They were in heaven...ok we all were.
All the grandkids at the pool, except Sarah. She was coloring.

FAMILIA VACATION!

This past week was a total blast! It was definitely a week that I didn't want to end. Alot of my family lives far away, so we all don't get together too often. My mom and dad planned a trip for all of us to meet in Mexico and spend time together for a week. It was so fun. We stayed in Playa Del Carmen. The beaches there are gorgeous. All 20 of us spent all day together, from when the sun came up til late at night. We did so many fun things. It was all inclusive, and I honestly don't think I've ever ate so much in my life, and I've definitely never drank so many pina coladas. The pools had swim up bars so we would all chill in the pool all day and eat ice cream and pina coladas. It was so fun to be with all the nieces and nephews, i'm a total kid when i get around them. We had so much fun. We want to thank mom and dad for making it possible for all of us to get together for a week of fun! We LOVE you!
This is us at one of the pools at the resort.
We went into town to shop and eat 3 of the nights we were there. One night after the kids went to sleep some of us went down town to get our cokes and walk around. While we were down town this night I held the cutest little monkey..pictures are coming.
my honey and me at the beach where we stayed. this beach was so pretty. clear blue water and white sand. i totally love the ocean.
TULUM. This place was way cool. on the way down our family had our own bus and our own tour guide. my dad kept taking over the microphone..it was so funny. Some of us couldn't stand the heat the whole time to walk around to see all the ruins so we hit the beach. The beach here was so pretty and had sweet waves to body surf on. So fun!
XCARET. so fun. we all got life jackets here and floated down a big river. we chilled at the beach. saw sharks, turtles, monkeys, and all sorts of sea creatures. we went to an awesome night show. and has awesome food on the ocean.

Last Days in New Zealand!! WARNING! Tons of Pictures!

The last couple of weeks in New Zealand were freaking awesome! My parents got to come see the country with us. It was so fun to have them there to share the memories with us. We saw so many beautiful things. We went non-stop from the early morning til 12 at night. I know this post has a million pictures, but it's pretty good considering we took like 900 pictures. I really miss New Zealand. Isaac and I could totally live there someday, it really suits us. I'm so grateful we had the once in a life time opportunity to go there and experience such a pretty place, and really hope to go back.

the sky city tower in Auckland was awesome. We rode this elevator that flew. The elevator floor was glass, so it was pretty crazy watching yourself go up. This building is the highest building in the southern hemisphere. When we got to the top the view was breathtaking. We could see ocean and land for miles. It was amazing. Also, the floor when we got to the top was part glass, so you could stand on it and see the city below your feet. It was kinda scary.

ANOTHER PICTURE OVERLOAD FROM NEW ZEALAND!

It's crazy to think another week here has come and gone. Time goes by way too fast. This place is huge and there is so much to see so I guess we'll just have to come back down sometime and see more sites. We only have 2 weeks left! Isaac's externship ends this week, then my parents fly in on Saturday and we are really really excited!! We are really loving it here. It's so much fun being in a place with a totally different culture. It's so pretty! Seriously, driving through the country is amazing. And its been so fun sharing this experience with my sweets!

HAMILTON GARDENS
This place was very pretty. It was like a botanical garden place with a big lake in the middle. They had pretty rose gardens here and lots of cool plants.
This is a wood carving out of 1 piece of wood, but done by 2 people.

THE NEW ZEALAND TEMPLE
We went to the temple on Saturday and did a session. It was an amazing experience. We loved it! Such an awesome place!

THE LUGE IN ROTORUA
We went to Rotorua and had a good time. Its a small town about 3 hours from Auckland and looks alot like Bear Lake. We rode the luge. Its kinda like the alpine slide in Park City and Jackson Hole but your not on a slide, your pretty much driving yourself, so if your not careful you could fly off the mountain! It was fun. I was super nervous the first time and Isaac waited at the bottom for me forever! But the second time I kicked his butt! Ha ha not really, but I did alot better. We ate yummy burgers (chicken sandwich for me thanks) at Burger Fuel. We also went to the Polynesian Spa and sat in the hot thermal pools for a few hours. It was so nice. They had so many different pools all different temps, it was so relaxing. The hot springs sat right on the lake too, it was pretty. On the price list to get in they had different packages. One was for a private pool for couples which was $25 for 30 minutes. Hmmm..

This picture is taken when we rode the gondolla up to the top of the mountain.

GEOTHERMAL HOT SPOTS - ROTORUA
Rotorua is famous for their hot spots. They are everywhere and the whole town smells like a rotton egg. But they were cool.

THE VINGA BUS
We borrowed the Sorenson's cousins van to get to Rotorua. They call it the vinga bus. It was pretty sweet. The motor is underneath the seats so it kept us plenty hot. On the way down we passed a bunch of hitch hikers, Isaac really wanted to stop and pick them up but we were in a borrowed vehicle so he didn't. I think he felt bad. It really took him back to his hitch hiking days...yes he was a hitch hiker!
